As of 19:30 today Radioshack is soldout of the Pro-96 , Pro-2096 , Pro-106 , and the PRO-197.
The scanner market is full of Radioshack Digital Scanners.

They're also no longer listing the PRO-2096. I guess they've cleared out their clearance.

Technically the market is full of GRE scanners...
maybe soon to change when the new Uniden scanners come out.

The pro-96 / 2096 were on clearance, and will be no more (Unless they find hidden stock)
The pro-106 / 197 were also on some deep discount days $280 - $299 - $399 and completly sold out.

Id have to say ebay and the RR forums were full of multiple brand new Radioshack scanners haha...

RS will probably get more stock when GRE makes more of them... unless RS did as rumoured and decided to get out of scanners and there will be no more...

I believe that rumor to be false, the stores Ive been in are getting more scanners and related items in. Actually good to see some items in stock.

What rumor is that? They're still showing all their current scanner offerings on their web site, none of which are on clearance. So I think it's safe to say Radio Shack intends to remain in the business of selling scanners.

I believe the rumour started here in the RR forums that they were getting out of selling scanners.

Of course I think they will continue in scanners.


Hence why its a rumour, not stated as fact, or truth, or anything other then a rumour.
