GRE firmware already installed by factory?

Will be purchasing the PSR 500 soon. I would like to have the firmware already installed, as I have never did a firmware upgrade.
Anyone know of a company, that I could buy from, that already has the firmware upgrades installed? (or will do them).

Installing the firmware is very very easy. The update is downloaded from the GRE website and includes an instruction file explaining step by step. If you can turn on the radio, push a button and operate a computer, it's a cinch.
The latest firmware was released on Apr 1st so i doubt that any radios have been released with that firmware. I don't think you'd have any problems at all updating it.

Call the "Ham Station" in southern Indiana, ask for Jeff , he is a good scanner guy and salesman, im like you and on my initial purchase offered to do it....
