gre psr 500 in Ocean County

I know there is a gre forum, but for local users, does anyone have the psr 500 and how does it perform in our area, state police, oc sheriff, edacs, apco 25? Thinking about upgrading, 996t, or wait for 600 or if uniden comes out with a better base with more features, nac decode, ect.

I don't have the PSR-500 yet but both PSR-500 and 600 do NAC decoding.

I realize the gre's have nac decode, I also like the different color led's, but I not crazy about radio shack scanners and never owned a gre, this may be a first for me in a long time, owned a pro 2050 once (don't know who made that one - rs or gre), that's why I looking for input on the new gre units and how they perform for us local folks before I decide, thanks for your input.

GRE makes a lot of RS scanners for them.
