GRE PSR-800 LCD backlight failure

Just send mine back to GRE for warranty repair anyone else have porblems with there PSR-800 LCD backlight? My scanner the light would work intermittently then it failed. GRE has been very helpful on this situation.

I never run on batteries with any of my scanners. I always set the backlight on all of my scanners to constant on (if the radio is on). I have never had a backlight go out while one of my scanners was still functioning, ever.

I keep seeing this stated over and over. That is a very good thing!!!

Have not had the LCD issue.

Today I received a brand new PSR-800 to replace the defective one. Way to go GRE.
