GRE Super Amplifier any reviews?

Some like em others dont, the biggest reason is front end overload of the scanner. If you are in a High RF area, depending on what scanner you are using it may overload it with too much RF. Hope this helps ya . Good Scannin Hoser

It would be a disaster in the metro NYC area with a GRE amplifier and a GRE scanner. The front end desenses just having it hooked up to a good outside antenna. The amp will simply swamp the front end with more signal than it can handle. A good antenna and using the attenuator on VHF-Hi frequencies should get you everythng you want to hear.
