Does any body have any comments on the GRE Super Amplifier. I listen to my Pro-96 at work, so I can't erect an outside antenna, will the amp work to help bring in signals while I am scanning inside a building.

Thanks, Danny

You may experience front end overload on the scanner. Some have others have had good luck with it. Just depends on what kind of RF enviroment your in..................Hoser

I have one and I hate it. I have read that it doesn't really work unless you're out in the suburbs. I live in a metro area. It actually decreases the signal strength here.

I thought it would help while I am at work, I work inside a concrete block building in a room in the middle of the building, I can recieve transmissions, some are weak, some come in OK. Is a whole lot less than when I am outside of the building. I do work in the Louisville Ky. Metro area. I definitley would not use it outside the building.

I have two and they don't work well on Digital but are good on UHF & VHF basic signals. If you are using Digital save your money.
