Agreeing with the previous poster, I think from state to state and all the topical forums, most people here are friendly, polite, and usually try to be helpful. Get to know the folks from your state and locality on your state forum.

Great site just to look around on, post a couple of thoughts, and share your radio enjoyment with other radio enthusiasts!
HF section is also cool, you can read about the 'WEIRD FREQUENCIES" that people find, its really neat to flip on the Yaesu and monitor as well.
