That was a great read and contains a lot of truth. I've been involved in Public Safety one way or another since the early 1980s and have heard many different versions of the "blind 'em with male bovine excrement" tactic by many different sorts of salespersons in many different ways, covering many different types of equipment, and a whole lot of bells rang as I read that!:lol:
I find it sad that so many people in positions of authority in PS today fail completely to comprehend what I consider to be a fairly simple concept, i.e. "If it ain't broke, don't be trying to fix it." Whereas certain vendors, and I'll name no names here, seem to have wholly adopted the philosophy of, "If it ain't broke, fix it till it is."
