Just Tried @ work using my laptop + dongle + dsdplus fastlane + Realistic classic Telescopic antenna** and STRS - Simulcast Trunked Radio System here in Los Angeles working really good. 95% clear signals when compared to outdoor antenna.

** Found the sweet spot for best signal

I'd rather use my G5 - it's a lot smaller and works perfectly. It's possible to drive a finishing nail with a sledgehammer, but the right tool for the job is the better solution.
