Just out of curiosity, what exactly does the Greater Cleveland Alliance do?

they are a paid group of individuals who provide directions to anyone who asks. i believe they wear some sort of uniform. each one is responsible for a particular street/area of downtown cleveland. they also do some light clean up duties in their assigned area. in effect, they are goodwill ambassadors for the city. they may also provide ideas in where to eat/shop. i do not know if they can provide contact help to local safety forces if they happen to see a crime. money for this comes from the local merchants. happy thanksgiving to all.
