You can request it, but Cleveland would most likely claim those records are exempt from disclosure as part of a communications system infrastructure record, Ohio R.C. 149.433(A)(2)

Your only recourse if Cleveland refused to furnish those records would be to file an injunction request with the court.

Thanks for the info.

Looks like we're left to finding where they've leaked a non-redacted version, find a user with a radio, or get a relative to get me a kickback job with the city.

Where's Jimmy Dimora when you need him?

I can confirm. I live right down the street from a Cleveland water system plant. 140th and Lakeshore. Sorry can't think of the name right now. See them all the time. Drive SUV's with light bars.

You are correct it is part of the part of the N.E Ohio Sewer Distract. Is there a seperate Cleveland system.? Maybe the Baldwin plant on Fairhill or Nottingham. I'll take a closer look on the markings on the cars I see at the Lakeshore plant.

Sounded like a dispatcher reading meter numbers to an encrypted field unit. Didn't sound like LE at all.

What system (and/or feed) would we be able to hear Cleveland PD's response to the escaped kidnap victims' call for help?

Right now the only place I know of with a feed is cleveland.com/policescanner with no archive.

Not on this system. Public Safety hasn't moved over here yet. They are still on the old VSELP system.

That's a shame...

Thanks for the quick reply!!!

It is, RadioReference used to have a decent feed with archive, and one day it went dark.

This thread is waiting to see if Cleveland PD will end up encrypted on their new P-25 system, after that expect a new feed.

TG56011 new radio id's monitored

Earlier today I monitored radio checks on TG56011. The radio check's showed two new radio id's, 1843xxx and 1844xxx.

The radio check's were answered by a radio with an id of 1865xxx (Radio Svc's), which has been monitored repeatedly on TG56011. The 1865xxx radio referred to (TG56011) as City Wide Channel 2.

I monitored just one radio test (from the above radio id's) on TG56010. The first and so far only time I've recorded a hit on TG56010.

Last but not least, I saw two workers climbing to the top of the Schaaf Road tower around 12:30 pm. The antenna's for P25, VSELP and one Microwave dish are at the top. Unfortunately I was leaving to run errands so I don't know what type of work was being done.

TG56174

Heard testing traffic in the clear from TG56174 around 10 am. The testing radio's id was 1040, which should indicate a console.

Several minutes later on TG56174 there was encrypted traffic. The radio id for that transmission was 4180002, not the typical 18xxxxx. According to the county plan, that radio id would be from Jefferson County. Probably a radio tech.

Hearing traffic on TG56275, radio id's 1824xxx. References to setting up for today's news conference. One set of transmissions was regarding a device to provide an audio feed for the news outlets. A prior transmission was about getting bags from the truck up to the room.
