Yes, the Cleveland system is down and all radios are in site trunking mode.
What is system status now ? 5:30 pm .. .. Not hearing anything from here in Kent, but some days that is not unusual for my location.

i do think these are used to talk to other departments in the city on one talk group just don't know what TG 56007 PC means

I went on the City of Cleveland website and found a list of departments. There is a department Called Port Control. Maybe this could be what PC stands for? It would make sense considering what these other TG's are called.

I left 56007 out for now. Unless you guys want it added. At this point, I feel we are just guessing.
Adding it may result in the same discussions we always have around adding things that aren't active. This seems worse. We are adding it when it doesn't seem active, and we are guessing at the name.

Keep in mind that RR policy is that only confirmed talkgroups are to be added to the database; no guesses or speculations.
Please use the collaboration Wiki for this system as a scratchpad for unconfirmed talkgroups, etc.

Monitored maintenance traffic on TG56259 around 2:45 p.m. this afternoon. Conversation regarding replacing a fan and finding a birds nest in the duct work that needs to be removed.
TG56259 falls inside of a range of other Cleveland Building Maintenance TG's. The radio id's in use were 1823504 and 1823507.
Can anyone provide additional information to help put a name to this TG?

FYI. There is a prior entry for TG56011 which lists it as Radio Service, in the Cleveland Public Works Talkgroups.
If I remember correctly the original post goes back to the early days when the system was just being setup. Based on the information from davidzimmerman, I would go with the CITY-2 as the alpha tag.
Along those lines, should the any or all of the TG's in the Cleveland Common Talkgroups list be moved to the existing Cleveland Public Works Talkgroups?

Last night I monitored traffic on TG56507 regarding the setup of a meeting. This TG is in the range of the Strongsville TG's. Also the radio id in use 1877XXX (1877817, 1877852 and 1877999) is listed in the Wiki as Strongsville Service.
Can anyone provide additional info to put a name (Alpha Tag) for this TG?

I copied further traffic on that today. It's definitely related to Strongsville as I copied the Director of Technology talking to another person. Maybe a tech group?

Yesterdays traffic was tech related. The first round dealt with setting up a projector and sound system for a meeting. Later the second round of traffic happened when the presenter arrived with an Apple laptop. The support person didn't have an adapter that would work with the Apple and the projector.
I was surprised to hear IT support tech traffic on this system. Normally the tech folks just use cell phones. But, then again you hear traffic about needing toilet paper in the girls locker room from the Strongsville Rec Center on P25.

TG56507 has been active this morning. Hearing tech's working on network connectivity and changing out old equipment for new.
Sounds like the work is being done at Fire Stations, but I'm not positive. I haven't been able to be near the scanner all morning.
Also traffic regarding items to be worked on at other locations, North Royalton and Berea.

Berea switched to SWEDC this morning.
I too logged a ton of activity today on 56507. From what I could tell the testing was all done in Berea. I heard a few references to “dorms” that would indicate Baldwin Wallace Collage. How do we tag. Is this a mutual aid channel for the SWEDC for Berea?
