I just added two new interop talkgroups to the system. While adding them, I noticed one other existing talkgroup that might be better suited for this set as well.

The Cleveland talkgroups seems to be well group together for the most part,

56003 is currently listed in Cleveland Public Works. Could this be moved to the Cleveland Common and retagged as interop?

56162 seems to be out of place as well. It is stuck in the middle of a bunch of PD talkgroups. Do we have this one wrong as well?

Regarding 56003 and that range, here's what I show from my scanners history.

Not a stupid question. I'd like to know what A-Com stands for also. It's part of a continuous range of TG's starting at 56001 to 56044.

56001 - 56012 See post #1481 top of this page.

56013 - 56028 A-Com 1 - 16? Since I haven't heard any traffic that specifically identifies this range I have it tagged in my scanner as CPD Spcl Dtl 1 - 16.

56029 - 56044 Region Interop 1 - 16 has been ID'd and is in the DB.

jeffb, if you know what the official name is please fill us in and do a submission to the DB.

Good Catch Jeff!! That came out of nowhere. It looks like there dispatching full time on 56628. I know WHPD cars start with 75XX but I heard a few times a reference to car 211. Could that be another dept being dispatched by WH? Highland Hills maybe? I'm going to submit. Hopefully it can get into the database in time for the Monday update for us HP users!

Warrensville Heights PD uses a badge/ cad number system now. Has for about a year or so. They don't use car numbers.

To confirm, they appear to be dispatching full time on there ? And does anyone know if they are simulcasting on their 420 ? Curious for work purposes, just another agency that's harder to communicate with directly now.

Testing on TG56630

Just heard (10:15 - 10:20 a.m.) several short tests and keyups (no voice) on TG56630. The radio ID was 0.

Had a couple of hits on 56630 also today. Defiantly an FD TG probably Warrensville Hts. Heard reference to station 2. WHFD has a station 2 but more telling the unit ID was 186159. I saw a WHPD unit on TG56628 with an unit ID of 1865148.

i would bet WHPD CH-1 is 56628 and WHPD CH-2 would be 56629 i remember on their 420 WHPD and North Randall had used the same channel and both had CH-1 and CH-2

I heard several location references. Lakeshore & 260. Also 246. Russell Ave. Glenforrest road, Babbitt road. All of the locations are in Euclid OH.

Radio traffic regarding Channel 2 being out of service, stay on Channel 1 (TG56645)

Euclid PD is broadcasting on both GCRCN & MARCS-IP.

So technically they are Simulcasting on two Simulcast systems.

It seems strange that Euclid would be on both systems ??
Do both systems use the same type of radios ?
Maybe some realized that Marcs II doesn't work as well in Euclid as they thought it might ??
