I'm debating knocking out the PD side and just dedicating the scanner to FD and possibly putting up a second feed for the PD side. I'm also toying with the idea of changing some of the departments. While I can't obviously please everyone, I'm posting this here to see if maybe someone would like to suggest departments to listen to as well as departments to take out. As you all know New Haven PD and CMED dominate the scanner time so I am already toying with the idea of removing them. I also toyed with sprining for a pro-197 as I have a pro-106 already and was going to put up feeds for troop G and troop I, but decided against it after hearing horror stories about the dreaded knock on the door with the request to take the feed down. So I'm not going to spring for a few hundred dollars just to take the feed down. So other than State PD, I'm open for suggestions.

Strong work and like you suggested I would remove the fuzz and CMED.

I hear you Joe and would like to see it go to an area FIRE feed losing the PD and CMED stuff. I wish their was more to listen too on the MTAPD and Amtrak PD but it comes few and far between.

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to update all of you. I have split the feed as MTACop and Spatch suggested. These are two totally seperate feeds now. Feed 1 is just the FD's and Med 10 and Feed 2 is just PD. I am always up to suggestions, etc. So if there is a department I can hear that you want me to add (i.e. Hamden), let me know either in the thread or email me at: joetnymedic@aol.com and if possible, I will do it for you guys. Remember, while it may be my feed, it's there for you guys so I want stuff on it that you listen to. If not, what's the sense of having it online? Happy Listening!!!

Your not going to hear much FD,med 10 is very busy.med 10 could be a feed by it self.

Don't we both wish. I'll see if Tracy can get me a radio she owes me but I highly doubt it, especially for a feed.

Believe it or not it really hasn't been all that bad lately. if it gets going I may lock it out for a bit, just like if there's a good job going on and I'm home I may lock the feed on it for all to listen instead of having it scan into 900 other things. But like I said if Med 10 gets going, I can always hit lockout and I will

Sure Med 10 can be annoying but there was a time when I listened to it to get all users fires. If it were up to me I would leave it for a while and see how it goes.
