HELP !!

I have a GRE 500 Scanner, and currently when I hit any button I get "Heap error 230F1F : 2316" displayed on the screen.

Reviewing the other Posts on this site, It appears I've got a memory issue.

I am away from home, and don't have the software to link the scanner to my computer.

Any way I can correct this with out having to delete the entire memory.

Or is doing it thru the Computer interface my only real shot.

Scanner seems to be working with the normal 1-11 groups I had programmed previously.

Error is displayed when I try doing a "Tune", "Search", or any other function from the softkeys.

Thanks, and Happy New Year.

Hello and welcome to the forums. Using the Search Function you can usually quickly find the answers to most questions :)

Thanks

Thanks for re-opening the post.

If anyone can assist me with this issue please let me know.

As mentioned in the orignal post, I don't have the ability for PC Interface so looking for a way to resolve with out it.

Won't be returning to South-East Michigan for a few more days, and want to try to correct this so I can use.

Just a thought... since you are on the road and dont have PC access.... maybe save your current configuration to a V-Folder, then start deleting objects from your current setup until the problem disappears. If you can narrow it down that way, you can reload your working V-Folder and perhaps fix/delete the object that is causing your issues. That's one thing I love about the V-Folders.... I can save my current working memory before mucking around with it. If I totally mess it up, no worries... just reload it.
