When updating existing channels for the scanner from Library Import should I check both boxes (Replace channel name (Alpha Tag) etc., and Import primary and alternate control channels only for Motorola and P25 systems? Thanks. warhorse1

I have always thought that the option with the word "only" limited the amount of updates so I never check it in.

I'd guess that would be a personal preference. I never replace the Alpha Tags with the ones on RR. I have tagged most of my systems for my convenience and don't want to spend hours re-entering them. Your scanner only needs the Control Channels on Motorola and P25 systems so why spend the time downloading something your scanner can't use? Like I said, "Personal Preference".
