Greeley Stampede

While I was sleeping the Greeley Stampede began this weekend. :lol:

Talkgroups in use include:

WINTAG-1 1926 Fire and EMS coordination
WINTAG-6 1950 Law Coordination

This will pretty much be confined to the N. Greeley "O Street" site since it's a couple of blocks away from the event.

There have been some business UHF frequencies used in the past by the Stampede organization. If I get a chance to confirm this I will post it.

And finally from the Greeley Tribune the crime report from opening night:

Greeley police report from Friday Stampede: Greeley police reported 10 liquor violations, one assault, two runaways, one disorderly conduct, one warrant arrest and several trespassers at Friday's Stampede. In addition, Sgt. Joe Tymkowych said officers escorted a few people off the grounds who were displaying gang colors.

It's going to be fun around here for the next week and a half.

the trib always does a good job of pointing that out every year...but then again what do you expect when you bring the fun to the element instead of the element traveling to the fun!..good ole north side, I dont miss that!
