Green Brook moving to Trunk System

Hi,

I just read on a scanner blog that Green Brook is moving to the county trunk system. Is this for EMS/Fire/DPW? My Pro-106 had Somerset already programmed in a v-folder. Do I need to add a new talkgroup? I've never heard GB DPW on 155.745 but I see the trucks have what looks like 1/5 wave VHF antennas.

Why the move?

I don't know about DPW making the move to the TRS, but the public safety users will make the move up to already established talkgroups:

PD - Police Central

FD - Fire Region 3

EMS - EMS Region 2

FD/EMS paging will be on the new 470.1375 county paging channel.

As Mike has stated in a previous post, they will keep their own dispatchers for the time being...
