Hello, I'm new to scanners but I've been interested for a long time. I recently decided to dive in with both feet and get a Pro-96. I think this thing is WAY over my head. If anyone in the Indy area would be willing to help me set it up and understand this thing I would greatly appreciate it...heck...I might even buy you a coffee or lunch! Thanks in advance!

Wow, You did jump right in alright. You should consider becoming a premium subscriber. With a R/S cable, win96 software, and premium subscription here

Go to the database and select Indiana ( or use this link... http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&stid=18 ) and then pick the county you want (Marion I assume). Then across the top there are a bunch of tabs. Click the "Downloads" tab. If you want the State Police go back to the Indiana main database page and click on the "Safe-T" link.
