green / yellow, states / counties

after logging into RR, and seeing the us map with states defined , some are green, and some are yellow. after clicking on a green or yellow state and then clicking on a green or yellow county, where or what do you do to look for where the change is, and what the change consists of ?. been trying to figure this out. thanking everybody in advance for commenting.

Although a bit limited, there is usually a date next to the label "Last Updated: " in the upper right-hand corner of the county page. Placing your mouse on the link causes a pop-up with some info and clicking it shows more.

Beyond that, you would need to keep drilling down on green or yellow areas on the pages and systems to see what is changed (most times).

It's probably easy to see things that were added or changed - harder for things that were deleted.

The "Downloads and Reports" tab has a log of what has been changed.

Also remember that the change may be to a multi-state or nationwide TRS (normally government or utility system) that had a change but that change is many states away from you. Since the system covers your state/county, the color will change to indicate the change.

For example, the United States Department of Defense (14C)" system (https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=3856) may have made a change a talkgroup used by "Naval Air Station Lemoore" (as was done recently), every state and county that has a site on that system will turn green and later yellow.

It may not sound logical, but many of those sites work together during training or an emergency so a talkgroup from a far away site may indeed be used clear across country during that training or incident.
