Greene County

I used to pick up Yellow Springs Police on my Pro-97, but for the past couple of months, they are complete static when they transmit. I checked the data base, and I don't see any changes for them, and nothing has been changed in my scanner programming. Any ideas?

It might be where you are at in the county. I live over near Fairborn and I can hear them well enough on my BC250D. Has your antenna been damaged at all? Is YSPD the only agency that you have trouble hearing?

I don't believe my antenna has been damaged....the scanner really hasn't moved since I could last hear them and it hasn't been dropped. And, yes, it does seem YSPD is my only problem. I live in Xenia Township, not far from YS at all.

That's another thing....I'm not sure WHAT to listen to around here.
