Greensboro/Guilford County TRS updates

Anyone in the know what updates are going on with the Greensboro/Guilford P25 system? Currently, the Guilford VIPER TGs are being used for dispatch of Law, Fire, and EMS and the feed provider for Guilford Metro Fire lists " Monitoring Guilford VIPER TGs and Fire Alt Dispatch until radio system upgrades are complete."

From the sounds of it, the trunked system is currently in analog site trunking.

The P25 system was upgraded on Wednesday and all users were moved to backup systems.

I was up there in Winston Salem this past week.

I was listening to both Forsyth and Guilford Counties own their own systems.

I didn't have any trouble out of either system.

I didn't get to listen long because of those POS batteries went dead.

While I could listen, everything was crystal clear

Heck I was even receiving both High Point and Thomasville Fire going to calls.

The system was only down for 30 minutes for the upgrade.
