The EMS pages are probably on 149.4400MHz.

Fire would probably be on 153.2150MHz except for Blue Mountains which are on 153.4400MHz.

Thanks Mike,

A few more questions:

1. Am i correct in that I can only monitor fire tones with my 396 or use regular scanning...but not both?
2. Do you know if its possible to monitor known tones while searching for new ones? I have 4 groups set up. The first three are known with appropriate frequencies & A/B tones entered, the 4th I only entered in the frequency and left the A/B set to 0.0 for both. The issue is that in "Tone-Out Standby, its scrolling the first three, but the 4th does not come up...any ideas?!

When you say monitor pages do you meant using the fire tone out feature of the XT scanners, or just hear the pages?

For #1, no, you cannot do Fire Toneout and regular scanning at the same time.

For #2, I'm not sure. I've never tried it.
