I notice the database now says that Grimes is on the Westcom trunked system. However, last I knew Grimes was still patrolled by the Polk County Sheriff's Office which uses RACOM & Grimes Fire/EMS conducts operations on the County Fire VHF system. If they did change when did it take effect?

I don't think anything has changed, the SO still patrols out there and Westcom handles the fire/EMS. There was some updating done to the Polk Co page and it made its way there.
Hmm, news to me. Last I knew Polk County Dispatch was doing the Fire/EMS side but I guess they could have changed since I hadn't been monitoring Polk County Fire that closely, and have no way to monitor Westcom.

I dont listen to hardly any fire stuff, I guess im not sure what system they were on. Now that i look at the DB, you are correct, they are still on the VHF system dispatched out by Polk County. Nothing has changed.

They almost have to be. The rest of the county is all on the VHF plus they have to Integreate with Mutual Aid with Dallas County and other surrounding counties from time to time.
I think it was just a couple days after radioman96p71's last post that I heard a dispatch on Polk Co Fire for a fire alarm at the Grimes Walmart.
