Anyone know the status of the Groton City PD? They are or were supposed to switch over to CLMRN at some point.

Rumor had it they were doing some testing towards the end of last year and beginning of this year. Still broadcasting on the listed RR Database frequency.
OK, we are now in October and Groton City is still only on their vhf-hi frequency. I remember that funds were approved for the 2020 budget. I suppose they will just pop up someday, probably as a channel with Groton Town, seeing that they have the same tax code.
I was told it will be soon .
I hope its not like my saying last March that I would spray paint the deck chairs legs "Soon". LOL!
They passed a resolution to purchase the radios at a meeting in mid June. So with lead time to put together the contract, order, take delivery, install, program, and train, it would take a fair bit of time.
