try searching by brand name. (For example I'm pretty sure there're groups out there for Collins & Hallicrafter--maybe not specifically ion this site, but they're out there.

If you're referring to a more nostalgic discussion (as opposed to a strongly technical one), there are two threads about historical radios going right now:
