GTA Metrolinx info request

I an analog scanner guy wishing to embark into the P25 Phase2 scanning world and thanks to links in these forums I've determined that the Uniden BCD996P2 is likely the unit I will buy. After looking at the Metrolinx frequency page I am wondering if there is a data file I can download that would program the radio with all the Metrolinx settings and data without me having to go through all the steps manually.

Unless someone local has such a file it's unlikely. The only way you'll be able to do this without anyone's help is with one go the BCD 436/536 or SDS100/200's. I have the SDS100 and both the 436 and 536. Its a 10 second import from the database.

That being said...make sure the talk groups you want to listen to aren't encrypted. A good bit of the Metrolinx system is encrypted.
