First this is not a "rant" but...just a simple question. Does anyone have accurate and current info as to which frequencies/channels Guadalupe Co SO and Seguin PD operate on in the clear and which ones are using encryption? I am primarily interested in their dispatch channels. Thanks.

Good Evening,

As far as I know, neither are employing encryption right now.

Seguin PD can be found on 154.78500 with a NAC of 293 they usually Simulcast On animal control 155.5200 NAC 770
they also are on the LCRA system on TG 6559.

GCSO is Currently using this system Guadalupe County Nexedge Trunk they use NXDN and unless you have a current Uniden (BCD 325P2, x36HP or SDS100) with the Paid NXDN upgrade or Whistler TRX-1, you will not be able to monitor them.

they do still maintain 155.4375 NAC 351 but usually, you only hear DPS units checking in with the county.
there is also a link to this on the LCRA system on TG 6517.

155.90250 RAN 26 is also used by west units to reach some of the further NXDN towers.

There have been discussions that Guadalupe Co was going to be moving all radio operations(both SO and Fire ops) to the LCRA system. as of yet, there has been no timetable given for when this may happen.

Sanscanman is correct on all the above. Look for LCRA usage to begin within the next few months and should be complete by July. Possible new sites in cibolo, SE of Seguin, and just North of Seguin as well.

A TG is missing from the DB and that’s 5. When they were chasing the guy around the trailers at 775/10 a few months ago I heard it but didn’t want to say anything.
