Gulf Shores (Orange Beach) Area Repeater Info

I will be visiting the Gulf Shores (Orange Beach) area in February and will have my HT ham radios with me. I can't seem to locate any ham repeaters in this area. I see some located in Foley and Loxley but not sure my HT's will key the repeaters in those areas or not. Any help would be appreciated. 73's from KJ4TVL

146.895 -- Orange Beach Ham Repeater. This the only one I can find so far. I am in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. I can hear this one over here so you should not have a problem hitting it. don't know if there is a tone on it.

the 146.895 is where I hang out on when I'm on. it has a 110.9 hz tone. Two other ones are 146.820 (203.5) and 147.090. All three stay fairly busy so it shouldn't be hard to get a QSO going. The 895 and 090 machines you should have no problems hitting on an HT from Orange beach. I have worked the 820 on an HT from down there as well.

Thanks for the info. I located the 146.820-(203.5) out of Mobile, and the 147. 090+ out of Robertsdale, but couldn't locate the 146.896- (110.9) area. I see in your website that this is the Foley area. My ARRL Repeater Directory 2010-2011 does not show this repeater. I have written down both call signs and will try to make contact with you folks once I get there. It will be the week of 2/19 throu 2/26. 73's.
