GUNNISON COUNTY - Gunnison County Emergency Services say one person died after a rafting accident on Friday afternoon

According to the Gunnison County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened on the Gunnison River between McCabe's Lane and Blue Mesa Lake.
Two adults and three juveniles were thrown out of a raft when it overturned. An adult woman and the juveniles were carried downstream and were able to climb out. The other adult, a man whose name has not been released, was found dead 1/ ½ mile downstream from the accident.
The adult female and juveniles all were treated and are recovering.
Their names also have not been released.
