I'm working on getting this damn Starlink receiver some good line of sight. The only viable location is right on the corner of my property so i don't even have 180 degrees for guy wires. I trie doing one side pretty much straight down. helps a bit... but can't get it straight.

So I'm, perhaps, getting dangerously creative... How about a cross-beam with counter-weight guy that will give some angle to the guys at the property line. Here's some photos/mockup of current and proposed... any thoughts on this?

I am a lineman for the county.
How high does the antenna need to be to work?

There are self supporting options, but cost and foundation design will depend on how high it needs to be.

My brother in law tried StarLink in a rural area, and found that there was no way to get it work reliably. There just are not enough satellites in the system yet to make it work as designed.

The question is does it work? Before doing extensive guying support, I would make sure it works. If it does not work then a degree or two straighter is moot. And anything you put up in the air that could fall should be far enough from the property line that if it falls it will remain on your property.
