Tonight I was driving through Gwinnett listening to the new P25 w/ Gwinnett Co FD TG's on my 996.

The new Uniden software performs better on Gwinnett for me than for Cobb Co, GA.

I did notice something. While I was listening successfully to FD-TG's while in search mode, some TG's would "pop" on for just a split second. I could hear a garbled voice for just a brief moment and then silence.

I also noticed that there was never any error shown. Since this occurred repeatedly for the same TG's I suspect these are encrypted. I saved them into the QuickSave and set them for Digital audio with no improvement.

The FD sounded very good.
When I get back from my trip, I'll advise of the TG's I was getting "hits" on without audio.

Julian, my 106 will stop on the FD TG's sometimes and there seems to be no traffic. It is the 'motorboat' signal that is being muted. I, also, hear sometimes the garbled voices. I haven't figured that one out. If you have read what Richard Marlar has posted at ScanAtlanta yahoo groups, there is some additional info.
