I noticed that the GC BOE LTR system is posted. My question is, how does one know, for sure, what the LCN is? I.E. 451.9750 is listed as LCN 18, but there is no LCN 17. Now, I can say that I've never tried to monitor a LTR, so ya gotta give me a break on this one.

Arm or leg?? The LCN starts at 01. If there is a N/A after a number, there is no frequency programmed in that channel. Example: 01-451.XXX, 02-452.XXX, 03-N/A, 04-451.XXX, etc.. How that programs in one of your Unidens, I have no clue. How it programs in my new 106, I'll find out tomorrrow when it goes into the scanner. How it programs into my 97, is how I described it. It seems you might be to busy to listen to your scanners now(;>))

Yeah, I know about the LCN, but how does one know that that channel that is LCN 18 is in 18 and not 17?

Because when you put the LTR system in any of the newer scanners, it will automatically put it in the correct LCN. I'm going to put it in the 163 and see what happens. If the LCN comes up the way it is posted in the database, I'll let you know.
WOOF! It is one absolutely amazing scanner. With Win500, I can listen and control the scanner from the pc. I waited a long time to get this one. Almost bought a PSR500 last year. I'm glad I waited. Got it for $276 too;))

I built that system. Don't know about now, but I configured it as channels 1-20 with the freqs in ascending order, i.e. chan. 1 was the lowest freq. May have changed...I doubt they're using all of the channels as home channels, as there was some fairly poor freq coordination and a lot of co channel interference---it's tough getting 20 "clean" channels almost anywhere, much less Gwinnett. Plus, the site is up on the hill on the county tower next to Discover Mills, and that is a REAL high spot without the tower.
