Tecsun H-501X Love All The Features

Besides the great SW and sound, I love the H-501x's Bluetooth and ability to play MP3's.

I have several podcasts on the microsd card in it and it's just great!

That is all; I just wanted to express that.

Watch out for the rapid battery drain, dismal audio, high noise floor & distortion on SSB. I couldn't wait to get rid of mine - such an overpriced pile of junk.

A PL-880 is a better buy imo.

I've owned and used the PL-880 and I like this one better. Audio has been incredible so far. I've had it for quite a while.

Sorry you had that experience, but that has not been mine.

I find battery life to be decent I can't put a number on it but I can put many hours on it between to the two batteries. I wouldn't say battery life is phenomenal but good and it depends on what features you are using and how loud you have it.

I'm just a guy who enjoys listening to the radio and playing around on the waves so don't take anything as gospel.
