H53 heading toward KJQF/Concord 1523h 8/23/23

Super loud helo got me running outta the house a minute ago, my location approx 8mi NW of Stanly/KVUJ.

H53, had to be around 1500ft, maybe lower, heading about 90deg off the direction to go to KVUJ so I imagine it is aiming for KJQF or KCLT.

Nothing on FR24 or ADSBx, so thought I would mention it to anyone interested.

No comms to KVUJ twr either 126.275, don't have much up and running to check otherwise though.

Hardly ever see these around here.

And how is the breaking news, the thread you posted to? There is nothing newsworthy or exciting about you not being able to ident a helicopter at about 1500 ft. Maybe if it had crashed, yes, but you not being able to ID it really doesn't fall in this category.
