Was looking on fcc database

They have emissions for DMR

Does anyone know if they plan to go DMR

And are they using the Motorola XPR radios

Last time I saw them they had APX7000 or APX8000xe. Not sure what they plan to do but DMR doesn't offer a FD any real benefit and the history of communications in terms of fireground in bergen county came as a result of deaths of Hackensack Firefighters. Analog works best as fireground but if there is a need to go digital P25 is the proper standard to adhere to.

One thing many forget is if they go with a high tier Kenwood they can have a radio with dmr, nxdn, p25 mainly just 2 enabled in use same time so dmr, p25 is no issue for a Kenwood higher end NX.
