While monitoring the SATERN net on 14,265khz it was reported that there is a team of hams traveling from the Dominican Republic to Haiti, arriving tomorrow, to set up operations. I believe there was _one_ ham on from Haiti yesterday, but that was it.

Edit: CNN has some amazing video showing just how bad it is over there. *BAD*

9018.0 USB is active with USAF REACH assets (Airlift Assets) coordinating their arrivals into Haiti. Sounds like there are at least 9 aircraft in a line heading down to Haiti and they are now stacked up

Seems many flights are being deverted to PR as no more room at airport and no refuel ops.
FAA says no more flights out of US to Haiti at this time.

Just heard some HF activity talking about the earthquake in Haiti. Two airborne stations on 9005 KHz, were talking about the airport in Port-au-Prince. They switched to 14760 KHz. Likewise, two ships heading to Haiti were on 9007 KHz, talking about joining up with another vessel leaving from Boston.
Finally, lots of activity on 8912 KHz, and even on 15010 KHz.

Command post is on 5715.5 KHz. They are establishing communications on Fleet SatCom 260.700 MHz. Earlier they were on 9005 KHz and 14760 KHz.

I know this is a long shot here, but I live less than 20 km's from CFB Trenton, ON, Canada which has the DART team in Haiti TROOPS LEAVE FOR HAITI - Trenton Trentonian - Ontario, CA

But I'm wondering what are the chances I could possibly hear Trenton Military on HF? I have a DX394 with a slinky antenna up. Or am I pretty much out of luck.

I do know I can hear the local MilAir stuff on VHF from there an it's pretty regular comms on my feed, but was more interested in the HF stuff at the moment.

I heard one of the Canforce flights from Quebec on 11271 KHz, mention that 9018 and 11610 KHz, USB mode were the primary freqs that the USAF was using. He was doing a phone patch with Trenton Command.
