FYI,
I just heard REACH 1101 check-in with ZJX on 124.775 and the controller and pilot were chatting and said that their destination is Rafael Hernandez airport in Puerto Rico and that is the staging area tonight.

w2lie.net has a scanner feed running with SATERN frequencies. ("Special" feed.)

Also, is there any way to listen in besides using a ham radio?

I saw the diversions start yesterday on Flightaware. All of a sudden, flights started circling on approach, then heading for PR, the Dominican Republic, or back to the US.

Radio station 4VEH is back online (they were down): Radio 4VEH Haiti with live audio. Right now it's in Creole, but their web page is in English, so hopefully they will broadcast some in English too.

There is also a low power station in the DR called R Amanacer on 6025, normally heard in our eves. It's a tough catch on the East Coast, squeezed between 2 powerhouses at night, but perhaps they will be on in the mornings too to cover the earthquake efforts. Worth a check

For the more broadcast-minded folks, don't forget to check Glenn Hauser's World of Radio program. He's sure to have stuff on all the services and stations covering this disaster

Here is the link for the last schedule dated 4 days ago...

14,265khz: There is a HH3/KE4REC??? ham "at the border" on his way to Port au Prince and I can hear him up here quite well. They may or may not make it to the capitol today due to road conditions. There is also talk on there that a non-licensed Haitian radio operator is on the 7,045khz net (Spanish) operating under 'emergency' conditions.

Edit: 14,300khz: I guess there is HH6JH on that freq. but I can't hear him.

you are heading BELL-35 and BELL-45 testing KG84 RTTY.

They've been fairly active on 5715.4, 8975.4, 9005.4 and 14670 since yesterday. They've been doing a ton of comm checks, and cycled between all those frequencies yesterday, however they seem to have stayed on 5715.4 today.

We don't think these guys are related to the Haiti operations, rather conducting acceptance testing or mil contractor comms testing.
