Does anyone know if the Hall County 9-1-1, trunked radio system is in operation yet? This is a six-site simulcast TRS, with one site being located in White County. The assigned frequencies are:

866.1750
866.4125
866.6000
866.9500
867.3000
867.5875
867.8375
867.9125
868.4125

I wonder if this is going to be another Project 25 TRS?

Programmed in the frequencies you posted, and loaded them into the 96. I have CC as 866.175, and radio techs on 5001 and 5002. It is definitely P25 digital. Something else close by other than Forsyth County to monitor digital transmissions.

Excellent! Can you if possible provide the System ID and WACN? For example, the WACN might look like BEE00, BEE07, or maybe 92487. Thank you!

If you look under Hall County I believe Lindsay has it posted. But, SY1DE T0101 BEE00 is what the scanner shows. Also, 5008 and 5061 are SO ops. I monitored them before leaving to chauffer my wife home. No activity on the radio this evening.

I suspect in the coming weeks the activity on this system will start to dramatically increase on this system. I wonder how many fire departments there are in Hall County?

16 stations to cover the county, plus 3 that cover Gainesville. Gainesville FD is on 800mhz conventional. I'm presuming that they will go to the new system. Gainesville PD also has their own VHF channel for dispatch. I think they are going to sell a lot of 96's and 2096's. Radio Shack is where most of the people buy their scanners. My 96 was a Xmas gift last year. Also, got a 97(mostly for milair and for the convention trunked systems I monitor). My county is supposed to go digital next year or 2008. They may wait for rebanding because of interference from cell towers. Dekalb is supposed to change over in'07.
