is Halton still using 152.34500 for Fire Dispatch? Also get weird squalks on that freq about every minute or so...

You mean Oakville FD. It sounds to me like they might be doing station alerting or something on 152.345, but certainly all voice calls including dispatch are on the Halton trunk system for Oakville and Burlington. (Same dispatch office for a couple of years at least now...)

Milton and Halton Hills still use tone/voice page-outs on 154.1600 with regular operations on the Halton trunk.

Halton Hills/Georgetown/Milton are on the EDACS trunk, but almost all operations are on the North Halton tower.. I have never heard Milton via the Oakville tower.. given that we are both in Miss.. reception is spotty for North Halton..

The Milton & Halton Hills Fire Departments use 154.160 for paging, but the page-out tones are completely different for both, as are the talkgroups on the trunking system.

Just to clarify in conversation as well, it is Halton Hills Fire, not Halton Fire. Halton is the entire county, which is made up of 4 different fire departments - Hlaton Hills (Acton/Georgetown), Milton, Oakville and Burlington, and as was mentioned, the north rarely if ever appears on the 2 district (Oakville) system, including Halton Regional Police. Years ago 1 & 2 District PD dispatch desks would combine when it was quiet, but that's another topic.

Yes Matt i know whats on the trunk system, was listening to the house fire on it last night... Wondered about the dispatching not OPS or TAC..
