I enjoy the two ham repeaters on calls and have both of them ( the one at RIT and the one in NS Canada) on a playlist. Last night I was listening to a net on the NS Canada repeater. I'm hoping more ham repeaters will go on the calls platform !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems kinda silly when amateur repeaters have been accessible via Allstar, Echolink, the various digital networks, etc., for years. And instead of just listening, you can actually transmit and participate.

Why would somebody want to transmit and participate? There is nobody worth talking to on repeaters anymore. Listening is a whole different ballgame. You can listen to the dunces without becoming one.

I'm a HF junkie more than anything else, but there are still plenty of decent repeater systems out there, especially here in Socal.
