Does any pick up any DMR radio traffic on the FL - DMR HAM system in the Tampa area? I have never heard any traffic on this system.

Most of the DMR talk groups on these repeaters are PTT (on-demand) talk groups. Only one or two of the available talk groups are full-time.

There is also a UHF DMR repeater in St. Petersburg. Same deal as above, but definitely has some traffic on it.

I agree with John...Most or some around the Tampa/Plant City/St Petersburg have PTT/On Demand talk groups enabled to where you have to key up the repeater to hear any voice traffic/conversations around the area/state or etc.

I currently have two repeaters on on the air in the Tampa Bay area.

One at TPA on 442.600+ CC1, the other one is in Downtown St. Pete on 443.750+ CC1. The West Central Florida Local 2 TG has good traffic on it. See my website for Talkgroup information kj4shl.com.
