Yeah, it's been talked up a couple of times on Ham Nation (Ham Nation | TWiT.TV). The shows director is a big ham radio guy apparently. I don't know which cast & crew are hams (besides the obvious guy). I've not actually seen Tim Allen use the ham rig on the show, but I've seen it in the background. As far as the show goes, ham radio doesn't play a role (big or otherwise) in the show at least in season one. But I'll see about hooking up with them on Echolink or IRLP (or maybe HF if I get good propagation that day).

Kudos to John for helping to self-police our hobby. It takes integrity to do the right thing these days.

I did see Tim Allen fiddling with both the HT and the HF rig, while talking to his boss on one episode. Can't remember which one, though.

I admit that it's not the best sitcom on TV, but I love catching glimpses of the radios, and frankly, Nancy Travis ( who plays his wife) is easy on the eyes!

I do occasionally laugh at some of the bits, too.

Hey Guys,

I have a found a couple of pics of Tim Allen in scenes where he is actually handling the radios.

I have never uploaded pics in the forums, so I am not sure how to post them, but I found an area in the "advanced" area of the forum reply area that says I can attach items.
