A good place to search for repeaters is this site:

Amateur and GMRS radio repeaters in Virginia

On that site I did find a repeater on 147.330 located in Warsaw to get you started. Also, be aware, that how much you hear on the repeaters depends on the level of activity in your area. Hope that helps.

RARA callao local hams

I use to live in village before moving to college. There is a local Ham group, RARA that maintains repeaters on 147.330 in Heathsville and 146.835 in Kilmarnock. They have weekly nets on both of these repeaters. If you have a ham License these guys can give you all the help you need. They also dlo field day and other events throughout the year.
