Looks good.

I'd be concerned about transmitting with that mag mount in the window that doesn't have a ground plane and is so close to the equipment.... but the box looks great!

I noticed that no mics are plugged in to the radios in the pictures he showed us so I am assuming he is using it as receive-only in the current setup. That is, of course, an assumption only, however. I do agree with your statement, however!

You are correct. It's setup for receive only in the pic with the recliner. That picture was taken at our lake house where I use the ham radios as scanners. Believe it or not, the SO, FD, and EMS are all still on VHF there.

I'm next door in Leavenworth Co. about one mile from the JeffCo line. Just curious, but what is 146.600 used for. I haven't had any amateur freqs. for JeffCo since Bob Brown moved his repeater to KC.

There is a two meter machine in Meriden (146.8350) which is just west of Perry Lake in Jeff Co. The 146.600 freq wasn't anything related to Jeff Co.
