ham radio users in the state

is there anyone that uses this fourm ,who is also a ham radio user?
if there is can u you tell me -any ARES or SKYWARN
groups in colorado?

I'm not in Colorado but am involved in Skywarn. I checked this site,

http://www.afn.org/~afn09444/weather/skywarn.html

and it lists 2 groups for your state, Tri State Skywarn (KS,NE,CO), and Western Region Skywarn.

I dont know how up to date this is, you may have more options than what is listed. Some of the area ham radio clubs may have some info also. If all else fails, contact the NWS office that serves your area.

What area of CO are you looking for in terms of ARES or Skywarn, There are 29 ARES Districts in CO. most of which have Skywarn spotters among them. I guess my question is, what Towns/Counties are you looking for and then I can point you in the right direction.

I just noticed your in the Basalt area, That's ARES District 2.

And there is a net on Sunday's @ 20:30 146.88

I would hang out on some of those and you could probably get more info.
