Is anyone using BC296D on Hamilton Co. and getting good reception?
I get below average reception quality with a lower setting of 333. It seems to be very sensitive adjustment. If I use this setting and turn the squelch down I can receive with poor quality.
This is my first experience with digital scanning and any help would be great.
The BC296D is fantastic on everything else. I am sure it's probably operator trouble.
