HAMILTON COUNTY 800MHZ FIRE TRAFFIC

I NOTICED TONIGHT ON MY BC 296 THAT HAMILTON COUNTY IS DISPATCHING ON THE WEST GROUP INSTED OF THE EAST TALK GROUP

WHY IS THAT I KNOW THEY HAVE A WEST AND EAST FIRE DISP CONSOLE

BUT ARE THEY GOING TO START TALKING ON BOTH GROUPS

They switch from 001 to 002 from time to time. I have no idea why, but they do it. I have heard it done about 7 or 8 times now....

I too have noticed the same thing....

A bit of info I read somewhere but do not know how accurate it is, says that sometime in the future when the new CAD is working that they will utilize both EAST and WEST for dispatching. Again I do not know how accurate that is, but thought it was interesting to say the least.
