Just as a heads up, while listening to county fire I heard several county fire chiefs on the "Fire Administration" talkgroup discussing the response by county fire departments to the CVG airport when the hurrican refugees arrive in town. This included chiefs from Montgomery, Sycamore Twp., Anderson Twp., Forest Park and several others that escape me right now.
Apparently a plane of refugees will be landing sometime tomorrow (09/10/2005) and responding agencies will receive notice about 1 hour prior to the plane's landing. When the notice is received the county communications center will dispatch about 10 ambulances. I believe this will be 1 dispatch for all 10 units as well.
Finally the Cincinnati Fire Division will be involved as well but to what extent I do not know.
