HamItUp Converter- Whats the Noise Source output for?

Ive looked,googled but just found way too much info to give me a clear idea.

What is it for,the white noise level?..how do I monitor it?

Im finishing a RTL-SDR/HF box.and Im drilling the panel holes today.If its something
I may use in the future Id like to pre wire it..since the parts are only about 10 dollars shipped.
